Elopement
An elopement is a wedding stripped down to what matters: the two of you, two witnesses if needed, and a city waking up around you. No seating chart, no three hundred guests to greet, no day spent running around. A morning, sometimes a full day, and images that truly look like what you lived.
Most of the couples I work with for an elopement come from abroad. I know the drill: where you can exchange vows without being interrupted, what time the riverbanks are still quiet, how long it really takes on foot between two locations. Scouting is part of the package, not an add-on.

How is this different from a classic wedding?
The guest count, and so the pace. An elopement runs without group constraints: we move at your speed, can pause, start over, walk to the next spot. Photographically it changes everything: many more real moments, far fewer poses.
Can we legally marry in Paris coming from abroad?
French civil marriage requires prior residency in the town hall’s district, which rarely fits a trip. Most couples from abroad handle the legal side in their home country and live a symbolic ceremony in Paris. The day is identical, only the signature happened elsewhere.
Which locations do you recommend?
It depends on the time. The Trocadéro very early, before the tour buses. Pont Alexandre III for end of day. Montmartre if you want to walk and brush past the city as it lives. We talk it through beforehand, and I’ll tell you honestly what will be crowded.
How much time should we plan?
Half a day is enough for a ceremony and two locations. A full day lets us add early morning, lunch, and evening light, which is often the most beautiful.
What’s the price?
Three things move the price: the duration, the number of locations, and whether there is a ceremony. I’d rather build a tailored proposal than post a package that wouldn’t fit anyone. Write to me with your date and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours.
