Which month to choose
Between the seventh and the eighth month, usually: the bump is nicely round and you are still comfortable walking for an hour. Too early and the shape does not show enough; too late and the tiredness of the final weeks makes the session less enjoyable.
How it runs
The session lasts an hour and a half, in a single location, so there’s time to actually settle in without rushing. Two outfits are planned: one relaxed, one dressed up. The contrast between them makes the gallery livelier than a single uniform series.
If the light is not enough
For sessions at the end of the day or in overcast weather, I always bring two Profoto B10X Plus lights. Paris weather is never a reason to call it off.
Bringing someone with you
Your partner is welcome, and so are your other children if you have them. Many sessions mix a few images as a couple or a family in with the solo portraits, without changing the planned duration.
What you receive
Ten retouched photos, delivered in high definition within ten days, in a private gallery. I send an outfit and posing guide before the session, written specifically for a round bump.
The budget
There are two packages: Essential from €350, and Complete from €500. The difference is the number of locations and outfits included.

Should I book far in advance?
Better to start from the sixth month: the ideal window (seventh to eighth month) is short, and the good-weather dates go quickly in high season.
Can we choose the locations?
Yes, the location (or the two, with the Complete package) is decided together based on what you like and the season. A park and a typical Paris street often make a good combination.
What if it is grey or raining?
An overcast sky is not a problem: the lighting I bring makes up for the missing sun. In heavy rain, the best thing is to talk it through when you book.
